Myers Cocktail IV Across the Phoenix Valley and Surrounding Cities

Delivered to your home, office, hotel, or job site anywhere across the Phoenix metro and West Valley, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Myers Cocktail is $200.

Our team comes out of fire service and emergency medicine, so whoever arrives has started a great many lines under conditions considerably worse than your living room.

What Is In It

  • Lactated Ringers
  • Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C)
  • B Complex
  • B12
  • Glutathione
  • Magnesium
  • Zinc

The broadest standard formula on our menu, and the oldest in this field. Ours follows the familiar profile that traces back to the original work on it.

Ingredients are listed by name rather than by dose. Formulas get adjusted, and a number sitting on a web page that nobody remembers to update is how somebody ends up quoting last year’s recipe back to the person treating them. Amounts are confirmed at your appointment.

Who Books It

The Myers Cocktail is named after Dr. John Myers, a Baltimore physician who used a version of this combination in the mid twentieth century. It is the closest thing IV therapy has to a standard formula, and most variations you see anywhere trace back to it.

People book it for general depletion rather than one specific complaint. Run down after a long stretch, coming out of an illness, or wanting the widest nutrient load in a single session.

It is also what regular clients tend to settle on. After a few visits chasing targeted drips, most people stop optimizing and book the broad one.

If you know exactly what you are after, whether that is fluid, B vitamins, or immune support, a targeted drip does that job for less.

Why It Runs at a Steady Pace

Magnesium is the reason. At a meaningful dose it is uncomfortable if it goes in quickly, producing warmth spreading up the arm, flushing in the face, and occasionally a heavy feeling in the chest that is harmless and unpleasant.

Run sensibly, most people find it relaxing. Rushed, it is the drip most likely to make somebody uncomfortable, which is why anywhere advertising a fifteen minute Myers is cutting a corner that matters.

Tell whoever is treating you the moment warmth starts building. Slowing the rate fixes it, and that adjustment is a normal part of the session rather than a problem.

This is also the drip where staying with the client for the whole infusion earns its keep, which our team does as standard.

What the Session Is Like

Longer than a hydration bag because of the rate. Warmth from the magnesium is common and normal, and the taste from the B vitamins shows up early.

Whoever is treating you stays for the whole infusion rather than starting it and leaving. If anything feels off at any point, say so and they will stop and assess. No infusion is worth pushing through.

How It Compares

Against immune support at $185, Myers adds B12 to a similar profile for $15 more.

Against Masters Blend at $300, Masters is this same formula with a higher vitamin C and glutathione load. If you have had Myers and want more of it, that is the step up.

Against the targeted drips, Myers is broader and more expensive. The premium buys coverage rather than concentration.

Add-Ons

Any drip can be built on. Extra fluids and nutrients including ascorbic acid, B12, glutathione, magnesium, taurine and zinc, plus support add-ons for nausea, pain, inflammation, and allergic symptoms.

The support add-ons require provider approval. Your history gets reviewed first, and if one is not appropriate for you it does not happen. Say what you are dealing with when you book so it is sorted before the appointment rather than at your door.

Where We Come

Twenty-two cities across the Phoenix metro and West Valley, including Surprise, Peoria, Glendale, Goodyear, Buckeye, Phoenix, El Mirage, Sun City, Sun City West, Avondale, Litchfield Park, Scottsdale, and Tempe.

Homes, apartments, hotels, short term rentals, offices, gyms, and job sites all work. What a visit needs is somewhere clean to set up and a comfortable place for you to sit with one arm free.

Booking at Any Hour

We run 24 hours, seven days a week. Between 9:00 PM and 6:00 AM, call rather than booking online, and a $50 after hours fee applies. During the day, book online or call, whichever is easier.

The overnight hours are a real part of what we do rather than a line on a website. A stomach bug at two in the morning, a crew starting at four, or a wedding party that needs to function by ten are all normal calls here.

When you book, include the full address, the unit or room number, any gate or building code, and where to park. That is the single most common reason a mobile visit runs late and it takes ten seconds to prevent.

Screening and Safety

Every appointment starts with a health review covering your history, medications and supplements, allergies, and anything that has gone wrong during a previous IV.

Not everybody is a candidate. Pregnancy, dialysis, certain heart and kidney conditions, and some medications all change whether an infusion is appropriate, and some rule it out. If that is the case you will be told before you have paid anything.

If something looks acute or is getting worse, the right answer is urgent care or an emergency department. Our team spent their careers making that call and they will make it here too.

Who Administers It

Paramedics and nurses, most with well over a decade in the field, working under the medical direction of Daniel Dawson, DO, an emergency medicine trained physician working in a West Valley emergency department.

If you have been told you are a hard stick, mention it when you book. Difficult access is the thing this team has the most practice at, and knowing in advance means it gets planned for.

Price

Myers Cocktail is $200. The quoted price is the price, with no call-out charge and no distance pricing inside our service area. A $50 after hours fee applies between 9:00 PM and 6:00 AM. Cancelling within two hours of your appointment carries a $50 fee.

15% off for military, first responders, and teachers. Group discounts start at four IVs, rising to 15 percent at seven and 20 percent at ten or more.

If You Have Never Had an IV

A small catheter goes into a vein, usually in the arm or the back of the hand, and the needle comes out once it is placed. What stays behind is soft plastic, which is why you can bend your arm and use your phone.

Cold running up the arm is normal, since the fluid is room temperature and your blood is not. Some of the B vitamins produce a taste people notice in the first minute or two. None of that is a problem, and whoever is treating you will tell you before it happens rather than after.

Afterward there is nothing to recover from. You can drive, work, train, or go back to bed.

Questions

  • How much is a Myers Cocktail in Phoenix?

$200, delivered anywhere in our service area. A $50 after hours fee applies between 9:00 PM and 6:00 AM.

  • Why is it more expensive than the other drips?

It carries more ingredients than anything else on the standard menu, including glutathione and zinc, and it runs over a longer session.

  • What does the magnesium feel like?

Warm, sometimes with a flushed feeling. Normal, and it settles if the rate is slowed. Say something if it is uncomfortable.

  • Is this the original formula?

It follows the familiar profile that traces back to Dr. Myers. Variations exist between companies, and ours is listed above by ingredient.

  • Is it a good first IV?

Reasonable if your reasons are general. If you have something specific in mind, a targeted drip usually suits better and costs less.

  • What is the difference between this and Masters?

Masters is the same formula with a higher vitamin C and glutathione load, at $300.

What Happens After

Nothing to clean up. The line comes out, everything packs out with whoever treated you, and your day carries on. There is no observation period for a standard infusion, though we will ask you to sit for a couple of minutes if it is your first with us.

Drink water afterward, eat something if you have not, and if anything feels off in the hours following, call the number you booked on. Somebody answers, including at three in the morning.

Groups and Events

More than one person at the same address works well and is a large share of what we do. Bachelorette weekends, wedding mornings, birthdays, office groups, and households where something has gone through everybody.

Give us an honest headcount when you book, because it sets the staffing and the length of the visit. Discounts start at four IVs, and everybody in the group can pick a different drip.

Book It

Book online any time, or call and text if you would rather describe what is going on first. If a different drip suits you better, we will say so, and it is frequently the cheaper one.
