Thanks for stopping by! The IV Guy AZ was founded in February 2024 by Billy and Sunny Plant. They saw a growing need for mobile IV therapy in the Northwest Valley and nearby communities like Buckeye, Surprise, Wickenburg, and Wittmann, and they decided to bring care straight to people's doors.

Billy has been a paramedic for 20 years, with 17 of those in critical care. His background includes ground ambulance, fire service, flight programs, and EMS education. Helping people has always been at the heart of his work. Whether someone needs a boost after a long night out or support on a tough day, Billy is focused on helping them feel better wherever they are.

Billy met Sunny in the fast-paced world of EMS. Today they share two kids, four dogs, and a business built on caring for their community. Sunny has since moved into education, but their shared passion for helping others is stronger than ever. When they are not out seeing clients, you will likely find them camping and exploring the Arizona outdoors.

Daniel Dawson, DO, is our medical director. He is a fifth generation Arizonan, did his undergraduate work at ASU and his medical degree at Midwestern University, trained in emergency medicine in Kingman, and works full time in a West Valley emergency department.

That matters for a practical reason rather than a promotional one. Every protocol we work to and every support add-on we give is under his medical direction, and having a working emergency physician in that role means the person setting the standards sees the consequences of bad practice weekly.

Our providers come almost entirely out of fire service and emergency medicine. Firefighter paramedics, flight medics, ambulance crews, and nurses, most with well over a decade in the field and several with more than thirty years.

Between them they have worked hospital and prehospital settings, rotor wing flight medicine, emergency departments, and EMS leadership. One is a second generation firefighter. Several are Arizona natives who have been running calls in this valley since before mobile IV therapy existed as a business.

At The IV Guy AZ, your IV may be started by a paramedic or a registered nurse. Both bring real skills to your care, and we think that mix is one of the best things about our team.

Paramedics are trained to work anywhere. They start IVs in moving ambulances, in tight spaces, and in the middle of the night, so a living room or hotel room feels like home turf. Nurses bring deep hospital experience, careful attention to detail, and years of hands-on patient care.

Every member of our clinical team is licensed and works under the guidance of our medical director. That blend of field skill and clinical depth is a big part of what makes mobile IV therapy with us feel easy, even at odd hours.

You may notice the difference the moment your IV goes in. If you have been told you are a hard stick, our experienced team is ready to help make the process as smooth and comfortable as possible.

Plenty of companies advertise around the clock service. Fewer answer at two in the morning, and fewer still send somebody.

We built it that way because of where the team came from. Every one of us spent years working nights, and the hours when people actually need help are not the hours a business finds convenient. A stomach bug at three, a crew starting at four, a group that has to function by ten.

It also means our overnight calls are handled by people for whom three in the morning is a normal working hour rather than an imposition.

The only extra charge is a $50 after-hours fee for visits between 9 PM and 6 AM, and we list it right here so there are no surprises. All of our prices are published on the website rather than hidden behind a phone call.

Every appointment starts with a health review, and not everybody is a good fit for IV therapy. If an infusion is not right for you, we will tell you before anyone drives out. If your situation is urgent rather than a wellness matter, we will tell you to seek emergency care. Every person on our clinical team has spent their career making exactly that call.

If your event is between May and September, the trailer is worth booking earlier than you think. Those months are when demand concentrates and there is one trailer.

It is also worth thinking about placement. Parking it close to where people actually are, rather than at the far end of a lot, makes a large difference to how many guests use it. We will walk through that with you.

For all day outdoor events, the trailer doubles as a cooling space, and plenty of organizers value that as much as the infusions. Somebody who is heat affected needs somewhere to sit down in air conditioning before anything else happens.
