Frequently Asked Questions
The questions we actually get asked, answered properly. If yours is not here, call or text and somebody will answer it directly.
Pricing
How much does mobile IV therapy cost in Phoenix?
Our drips run from $140 for hydration to $300 for Masters Blend. Injections start at $25. Add-ons are priced individually.
Is there a call-out or travel charge?
No. No call-out charge, no fuel surcharge, and no distance pricing anywhere in our service area. The drip price is the whole price.
What is the after hours fee?
$50 for appointments between 9:00 PM and 6:00 AM. Outside that window there is no additional charge.
What happens if I cancel?
Cancelling within two hours of your appointment carries a $50 fee, because by then somebody has loaded a vehicle and started driving. Earlier than that, no charge.
Do you take insurance?
No. HSA and FSA funds often apply, and it is worth checking with your plan rather than assuming either way.
Do you offer discounts?
Ten percent off for military, first responders including EMS, fire and law enforcement, and teachers. Group discounts start at four IVs.
Booking and Timing
Are you really open 24 hours?
Yes, seven days a week. Between 9:00 PM and 6:00 AM, call rather than booking online so we can confirm timing with you directly.
How fast can you get to me?
It depends where you are and what the day looks like. Call or text and we will give you an honest window rather than a number that sounds good.
How far ahead should I book?
Weekend mornings fill first, particularly in Scottsdale. If you already know you will want one, book the night before.
What do you need from me when I book?
The full address, the unit or room number, any gate or building code, and where to park. Access details are the single most common reason a visit runs late.
Coverage
Where do you go?
Twenty-two cities across the Phoenix metro and West Valley. If yours is not on the list, call and ask rather than assuming.
Can you come to a hotel, resort, or Airbnb?
Yes, and it is a large part of what we do. Send the property, the room or unit number, and any front desk instructions.
Can you come to my office or job site?
Yes, with somewhere clean and cool to set up and a place to sit. A break room works well.
Can you come to a campsite or an RV?
Yes, if there is shade and a steady place to sit for the session.
Do you have a clinic I can visit?
No. We are a mobile service, which is the entire model rather than a side offering.
The Appointment
How long does it take?
Most drips run 30 to 45 minutes. NAD+ takes considerably longer because it has to be infused slowly.
Does it hurt?
A small catheter goes into a vein and the needle comes out once it is placed. Most people find the anticipation worse than the event.
What if I am a hard stick?
Say so at booking. It is the thing this team has the most practice at, and knowing in advance means it gets planned for.
Do I need to prepare anything?
No. Eat something if you can keep it down, have water nearby, and pick somewhere comfortable to sit with one arm free.
Does somebody stay with me?
Yes, for the whole infusion. Nobody places a line and leaves.
Can I work or watch something during it?
Yes. The catheter is soft plastic once it is in, so you can bend your arm and use your phone.
Safety
Who administers the IV?
Paramedics and nurses, under the medical direction of Daniel Dawson, DO, an emergency medicine trained physician.
Who should not get IV therapy?
Some situations make an infusion a poor idea, including pregnancy, dialysis, and certain heart and kidney conditions, along with some medications. The health review establishes that, and if you are not a candidate you will be told before you have paid anything.
What if something goes wrong during the visit?
Whoever is treating you is there the entire time. If anything feels off, they stop and assess, and where a situation calls for emergency care that is what happens.
Can you help with something urgent?
No. If something is acute, worsening, or frightening, call 911 or go to an emergency department. Our team spent their careers deciding which situation is which, and they will tell you plainly.
Ages
How old do I have to be?
We treat from age 10 upward. Anyone between 10 and 17 needs a parent or guardian present for the whole appointment.
Can I book for my child?
You can arrange it and you must be present. The health review is completed for them with you there.
Groups
How many people do I need for a discount?
Four. Ten percent from four to six IVs, 15 percent from seven to ten, and 20 percent at ten or more.
Can everyone get a different drip?
Yes. Nobody has to agree on anything.
What about a big event?
Past a certain size the trailer is the better answer, and it treats six at a time in air conditioning.
The Drips
Which drip should I get?
Describe what is going on when you call and we will point you at it. It is frequently the cheaper option, and hydration at $140 is the right answer more often than people expect.
What is the difference between Myers and Masters?
Masters is the same formula with a higher vitamin C and glutathione load. That is the whole difference, and it is $100 more.
Why does NAD+ take so long?
It has to be infused slowly. Pushed quickly it commonly causes chest tightness, flushing, and nausea, none of it dangerous and all of it avoidable.
What is in your drips?
Every one is built on lactated ringers, a balanced electrolyte fluid rather than plain saline, plus whatever the specific formula adds. Ingredients are listed on each drip page.
What are add-ons?
Extra fluids and nutrients you can choose, plus support add-ons for nausea, pain, inflammation, and allergic symptoms that require provider approval first.
The Trailer
What is the IV trailer?
A climate controlled trailer we bring to events, treating up to six people at a time inside it. Nobody else in the Valley has one.
What does it cost?
Quoted per event, since it depends on headcount, hours, location, and staffing. Send a request with your date and numbers.
What do you need from our venue?
Somewhere to park it and access to power. Both get confirmed before the day rather than discovered on arrival.
Payment
How do I pay?
Card at the time of service. We do not bill insurance.
Can I use HSA or FSA?
Often, though it varies by plan and service. Check with your plan administrator rather than assuming.
Do you offer packages?
Ask when you book. Group discounts start at four IVs and apply at a single address.
Is the price on the website the price I pay?
Yes, plus any add-ons you choose and the after hours fee if it applies. No call-out charge and no distance pricing.
Still Have a Question?
Call or text. Nobody here is going to make you fill in a form to find out whether something is right for you.
