Hydration, heat, recovery, and the questions people ask us at two in the morning. Written to be useful rather than to fill a content calendar.

What We Write About
Mostly the Arizona version of these questions. How far behind you actually get in a Phoenix summer, why thirst is a late signal, what an IV does and does not do, and how to tell whether somebody at your event is in real trouble.
What we do not write is thin content built around a keyword. If a subject cannot be covered properly, it does not get a post.
Who Writes It
Our own team, all of whom came out of fire service, EMS, or hospital medicine. Anything clinical is reviewed before it publishes.
That is worth saying because a lot of content in this industry is written by people who have never started a line. If we tell you what heat exhaustion looks like, it is because we have seen a great deal of it.

If there is something you wish somebody would explain plainly, tell us. Half of what ends up here started as a question at two in the morning that deserved a longer answer than the moment allowed.
